Our pick of the best from our stockroom for your Christmas stocking, see it here.

The Rapture of Death

The Rapture of Death, by Prue Gibson, is an exquisite (and little) black book that is essentially a philosophical enquiry into the use of deathly imagery in contemporary art. Exploring art, literature, film and history the books delves into the idea of why the fear of death is an intrinsic part of life.

Two of our artists eX de Medici and Kate Rohde feature in the publication.

The Rapture of Death is available to purchase from Boccalatte.
